Crime: Police appeal after car allegedly failed to stop after collision with cyclist in Hythe

Kent Police is appealing for witnesses to a collision in Hythe in which a cyclist was injured by a car that allegedly failed to stop.


The incident is reported to have happened as the vehicle turned into Stade Street from the A259, at about 11.50am on Sunday 24 September 2017.


A 44-year-old man suffered minor leg injuries but did not require hospital treatment.

Officers would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision by calling the appeal line on 01843 222289 and leaving a message for PC Simon Jones.
